our mission

OUR MISSION

1. Establishing and Maintaining Schools

Our team has previously renovated and improved the infrastructure of many local schools. Specifically, we worked with an NGO, GDI, which maintains schools in the Takeo and Kampot provinces, to provide better curriculum and musical instruments, install Wi-Fi, provide electricity, and funded repairs, rent, electricity, etc.

2. Scholarships

The project has sponsored 6 students with a full 4-year college scholarship since 2012. We hope to work with future partners and other interested parties to grow this project to be able to sponsor more students.

3. Access to Clean Water

The project first implemented this in 2014 where our team provided portable water filters to local provinces. Since then, through active fundraising and awareness campaigns, namely the Ripple Fund, we were able to install 2 water filtration systems in the Takeo and Kampot provinces. To date, hundreds of families are being positively affected by this installation.

4. Global Learning

Our team coordinates various Skype sessions connecting motivated students on our end to Cambodian youth to teach them various things. This was originally launched and arranged by Prime Education Consulting.

5. Access to Clean and Renewable Energy

One of the projects we are currently focused on is the use of solar power as a source of clean and renewable energy to provide electricity to schools and local villages. We are currently in the planning stage and hope to implement in late 2016.

6. Study Abroad

One of our team’s long term goals is to be able to sponsor Cambodian students to study abroad in the United States, or similar, and to assist them in implementing their studies to grow their local communities.

7. Infrastructure

An ongoing project is to provide better infrastructure generally. This includes, but is not limited to: better and more educated faculty, better equipment, access to better services, and forums to grow talents (e.g. orchestra, athletic clubs, artist groups)
